    Banjat e Bënjës and Ura e Kadiut

    Banjat e Bënjës (Spas of Bënja) is the name of a place where seven thermal springs emerge along the river Lengarica. Some of the springs flow into basins built of natural stones and are free to access for bathing and drinking.
    The landmark of the place is the Ottoman stone bridge Ura e Kadiut. In the vicinity are also three smaller stone bridges.

    Just upstream of Banjat e Bënjës the river Lengarica has carved a beautiful canyon into the into the rocks. Who wants to explore it has to do so on his very own on the demanding terrain but will be rewarded with the most magnificent and picturesque impressions.

    hidden sights of Gjirokastër

    Gjirokastër has an old town with stone houses of Ottoman architecture typical in this region. Under the ruling of Enver Hoxha the town was declared a Museum Town to keep the unique ensemble maintained. As of today it is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
    Apart from the obvious sights one can find there alleys with three coloured cobbling, paths hidden by wine, decaying houses, suprising sights and insights.

    Frashër: Museum and brothers Frashëri

    Frashër is a typical small village in the hills south of Tomorr. Noteworthy is the Museum about the brothers Abdyl, Naim und Sami Frashëri, which originate from the village and were important persons in the history of Albania.
    South of the village a Tekke of the Bektashi Order is located where the brothers Frashërie received their first education.
